LITTLE TUSCAN BEER FESTIVAL

LITTLE TUSCAN BEER FESTIVAL 15 novembre 2025

Teatro del Sale opens its doors to the world of Tuscan craft beer with the first edition of the Small Tuscan Beer Festival! A whole day dedicated to the regional brewing culture: tastings, talks, workshops, and a “Da Urlo” dinner-show to rediscover a product with ancient roots!

Festival Program:

➡️ From 10:00… The Festival Begins!
Meet the Master Brewers from the five best craft breweries in Tuscany as they share the stories behind their creations. Enjoy free tastings, fun facts, and the chance to buy your favorite beers, directly from the producers!
But that’s not all… Alongside the beers, you’ll also find local artisanal bread and freshly pressed Tuscan olive oil, perfect companions to your tastings and a true celebration of regional excellence.

(Heads up! Sales close at 18:00 because… well, we need to get ready for our famous “Da Urlo” dinner for the evening show!)

➡️ 11:30 | Talk by OBIART – University of DAGRI Florence
“The Development of the Tuscan Brewing Supply Chain 2015–2025”

➡️ 12:00 | Presentation of the L.O.F.T. Project
Luppolo, Orzo, Frumento, Toscano: the home of brewing biodiversity.
A moment of exchange between brewers, farmers, and institutions on the future of Tuscan beer and its raw materials.

👉Free entry

➡️ 14:30 | “New Oil and Hops – A Matter of Polyphenols”
An unmissable workshop exploring the links between extra virgin olive oil and beer: guided tastings of new Tuscan oils and hop-forward beers, paired with ancient-grain bread from Mulino Le Pietre.
Discover the aromas, affinities, and stories of two great icons of Tuscan gastronomy… and receive your personal participation certificate at the end!

👉 Free entry until seats are filled

➡️ 20:00 | “Beer is Rock’n’Roll!”
The day culminates with our signature “Da Urlo” dinner!
A unique dinner-show divided into three acts, blending beer, theatre, and music!

Each course will be paired with a different beer, presented by Master Brewer Antonio Massa from Birrificio Valdarno Superiore, while musician Matteo Nativo will perform a brand-new song composed especially for the occasion, played live on a 6- and 12-string Fingerstyle acoustic guitar.

Between toasts and tunes, you’ll relive the story of beer, from Mesopotamian deities like Ninkasi to the medieval Ale Wives, the pioneers of modern brewing art.

👉 Dinner-concert €50 (wine not included)
