The great door of the Teatro del Sale is always open and allows its members and the city to meet and host artists from all over the world. We welcome you to make room for the collective, revolutionary emotion that only live performance can unleash.

One of the most loved and appreciated multifaceted venues in Florence and Tuscany, a cultural circo-lo and meeting place for those who love to reflect on passion and food, Teatro del Sale was born in 2003 from an idea of Maria Cassi, who is its artistic director, and her husband, the extraordinary Florentine chef Fabio Picchi.

By combining their skills and inspirations, they have thus created a place of sociability, reflective rest and enjoyment. A place that over time has enchanted travellers from all over the world and garnered unanimous praise from international cultural and food and wine critics.

Welcome, this is the home of you all: a truly unique convivial place, where its members can enjoy the double spectacle of kitchen and stage.

As with any association, access to the services of Teatro del Sale requires an annual membership card with which you can attend every activity the Circo-lo offers. For five evenings a week, after dinner, the lights go out and you attend live performances by international artists.

A stage where members can listen to music or watch a variety of performances, see productions that then travel around Italy, Europe, the world. A theatre where one can refresh oneself and enjoy the cuisine that the Chefs of the Cibrèo offer the Association.

The events you can attend are among the most diverse: music, dance, acting. But also readings, gastronomic performances, interdisciplinary activities, shows embracing cultures from all over the world, festivals, talk-shows and much more.

In order to take part in the Teatro del Sale's activities, it is necessary to subscribe to its membership card. In order to take advantage of the buffet dinner that precedes each performance, it is also necessary to make a reservation and communicate your attendance.

The Circo-lo Teatro del Sale is a cultural association directed by Maria Cassi that programmes over 240 performances a year.
From Tuesday to Saturday, the Circo-lo is open for members from 7.30 p.m. onwards with the dinner-show formula, our renowned 'Dinner from Scream'.

Exclusively during the concerts, it is also possible to access the 'Circo-lo Live' formula, which allows you to enter later, only for the performance, and with compulsory bar consumption.
