A film is made of many elements: acting, sets, lighting…
But nothing can make a love scene unforgettable or transform a moment into pure emotion like music can.
On March 6th, join us for an immersive evening dedicated to the music that has captured everyone’s heart, a journey through the most beloved composers of great cinema: from Ennio Morricone to Ludovico Einaudi, all the way to the legendary Nino Rota.
The stars of the evening will be the duo “La Dolce Vita”, made up of two truly extraordinary musicians:
- Aliano Frediani, pianist and composer whose works have been presented at MIDEM in Cannes, one of the most important international events in the music industry, accompanist to great opera voices, and collaborator from a young age with prestigious Italian theaters such as Teatro Comunale di Firenze and Arena di Verona.
- Beatrice Bianchi, internationally renowned violinist who has worked with artists like Sting and David Bowie, member of major Italian orchestras including the RAI National Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, and currently a permanent member of the Florence Chamber Orchestra.
The program features some of the most famous and beloved film soundtracks in the world, performed on piano and violin alternating as soloists and as a duo, in an intense and elegant dialogue, while a magical atmosphere, bathed in hundreds of candles, makes the hall even more intimate and cinematic.
