On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, Teatro del Sale hosts a special evening in collaboration with LIBRERIA MALAPARTE. Words and music come together to create a deep, emotional and truly engaging show, for a romantic night set in the evocative atmosphere of a much-loved theatre.

Throughout the dinner, the romantic melodies of Dos Margaritas will alternate with readings by Filippo Nicosia from “Immoral Recipes”, the ironic and surprising work by Manuel Vázquez Montalbán, which invites us to look at food and love with a bold and unconventional gaze.

Voices and sounds, flavours and laughter blend together, as readings from “Immoral Recipes” intertwine with intense melodies, accompanying each course and every moment. Our Cena da Urlo thus becomes a journey that alternates intimate moments with more convivial and ironic ones, rediscovering love in all its nuances and celebrating the pleasure of being together in a warm, engaging atmosphere.

  Not to be outdone, we’ve added our own twist to the menu inspired by the recipes of the great Manuel Vázquez Montalbán: our personal, “Immoral” idea — the Unconfessed Sin Risotto.
  
  A dish that asks for no permission.
  It arrives at the table red like a half-confessed sin, scented with damp earth and distant sea, and it looks you straight in the eye as if to say: either you understand me, or you don’t deserve me.
  The beetroot brings a dark sweetness, the kind that stains your fingers and your conscience. The capers burst under your teeth like uncomfortable truths — salty, impossible to ignore. The olives, black and fleshy, are the low blow: bitter, sensual, Mediterranean to the point of indecency.
  This is a risotto that doesn’t comfort — it provokes. It isn’t meant to please everyone, but to be remembered. A dish that tastes of cooking and character, of long silences and glances that last longer than necessary.
