Sunday, June 7th is the final day of SALE Sant’Ambrogio in Festival and brings the Festival outdoors, transforming Piazza dei Ciompi into a large collective space dedicated to encounter, conviviality, and participation.

The heart of the day is “Sant’Ambrogio a Tavola”: a long shared table that this year will feature some of the most important Tuscan trattorias, called to jointly create a choral moment dedicated to the city.

Throughout the day, Piazza dei Ciompi will host activities, performances, and moments for everyone: workshops for families and children, reading spaces, music, interviews, installations, up to one final shared moment—the final closing solo concert by Mille, followed by a live DJ set by Dj Hugolini, and Dj Biga!

A truly unmissable appointment: the FREE solo concert by MILLE, with her strong artistic identity and winner of the Critics’ Award at the Musicultura Festival in 2021 with the song “La Radio” (and with a new single coming out on May 14). Truly not to be missed!

Jole Sul Prato
“Printing the Florin with a Traditional Coin Die”
Via dei Pandolfini 25/r
From 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM
⚜️ Attend a hands-on demonstration of Florin coin minting using a traditional die. The activity will be accompanied by stories about the history of the Florin and the anecdotes connected to it. Visitors will also have the opportunity to mint their own Florin directly in the workshop, experiencing a small fragment of history firsthand.
Experience cost: €45

The experience includes:

A minting demonstration using a traditional die;
One silver Florin;
A zine dedicated to the history of the Florin;
An adjustable necklace cord to wear the Florin, if desired.

📷 In the heart of Sant’Ambrogio, where stories, faces, and voices intertwine every day, “The Living Portrait” is born: a photographic project open to all during the SALE Festival.
“The Living Portrait” is a gesture of memory and connection, aiming to capture on film the faces of those who find themselves in the same place at the same time. In the garden of Linfa Jewelry Studio, an intimate and curated photographic set will be installed, where each participant will be portrayed using a medium-format analog camera. The slow, careful process enhances presence and authenticity. Images will be developed by Rollbox, a film development project in the heart of Florence.
€8 contribution for a professional digital portrait. Print options available upon request at Linfa Jewelry Studio.

Pantagruel Association
Handmade Dolls and Artisan Products from the Sollicciano Women’s Prison

These wool and fabric dolls are created through a process that is never random or merely technical: each stage of their creation, as well as the sequence of the different phases, reflects the evolutionary development of the main stages of human growth.
The doll is therefore not just a toy, but the very image of the human being itself. For this reason, special care is given to the finishing details and durability of each piece, and restoration is encouraged so that the dolls may last over time instead of being replaced.
Pantagruel Association will be present with a sales desk featuring dolls and other handmade products created in the internal and external workshops of the Sollicciano women’s prison.

HU Openair and La Palagina Social Farm

Together with La Palagina Social Farm has created three workshops designed to bring people of all ages closer to the natural world:
🐝 Discovering Bees — step inside the hive and learn how bees live, work, and communicate
🕯️ Create Your Own Wax Candle — shape a pure beeswax candle with your own hands and take it home
🏡 The Insect Hotel — build a shelter for wild insects and discover why they are essential to the ecosystem
An open-air afternoon in one of Florence’s most beautiful squares — a chance to slow down, get your hands dirty, and remember how wonderful it is to be outside.

🍽️ The large charity dinner supporting philanthropic associations in Florence, which for two years now has brought over 500 people together for free, turning into a major collective celebration with music and DJ sets. Among the participating associations: Montedomini, Caritas, COSPE, Coop Gaetano Barberi, Opera della Madonnina del Grappa, I Ragazzi di Sipario, Nosotras, Coop Il Girasole, the National Deaf Association – ETS APS, and Associazione Pantagruel. This year, trattorias will be the protagonists of the large dinner in Piazza dei Ciompi.

Sale in Zucca – Malaparte Sunday in Piazza dei Ciompi
📚 Once again, Libreria Malaparte accompanies Sale inside and outside the theatre. On Sunday in Piazza dei Ciompi there will be Sale in Zucca: an open-air bookshop with a curated selection of books by the booksellers. A reading and relaxation corner will be set up with armchairs, and a space for children’s readings from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

💃 Tuscany’s largest and most established swing dance community, and one of the best known in Italy. Tuballo Swing — an acronym for “TUtti BALLanO SWING” (“Everybody Dances Swing”) — was created to spread the spirit and culture of the Swing Era through the teaching and practice of vintage dances.
With music, dance, vintage fashion, and old-time atmospheres, Tuballo Swing will bring all the energy and charm of swing to Piazza dei Ciompi through performances, social dancing, and moments open to the public.

🎸 From 10:00 PM Piazza dei Ciompi becomes the true gathering place for a collective city and neighborhood celebration. A closing musical show open to all, with a playground area, an ice cream cart, and th free solo concert by Miss Mille, followed by a live DJ set by Dj Hugolini, and Dj Biga.
