On September 21, together with Libreria Malaparte, we kick off the series “Sotto il Segno di Sale! – Incontri e appuntamenti per vivere il quartiere” with a very special guest: Andrew Sean Greer, 2018 Pulitzer Prize winner for Fiction.

One of the most acclaimed authors in contemporary American literature, Greer will present Villa Coco, his new novel, which has already become a publishing sensation in the United States. A book met with enthusiastic reviews, described by critics as “an absolute joy”, “the work of the funniest of authors”, and one in which “every sentence is music”.

This time, his gaze turns to the hills of Florence, where a story unfolds that intertwines irony, elegance, and humanity with the seemingly effortless lightness that has made Greer one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary fiction.
