Rinasciamo 4.0 APS Associazione di Promozione Sociale Reviving an Olive Grove, creating an ad hoc space where nature and fragile souls can breathe together. This is the beautiful project of Rinasciamo 4.0, a Social Promotion Association, founded in Florence in 2020 as a collective of professionals from an idea by Costanza Menchi, university professor of Fashion Studies and Communication. In full lockdown, 12 videos dedicated to Florentine creative artisan realities were produced, with the contribution of the Department of Tourism and the Patronage of the Municipalities of Florence and Scandicci. The format is expanding with social projects in Tuscany and beyond and is strongly focused on digital and sustainability, two key words of our present and our future. "Help us make the Oliveta a welcoming place for those who attend the Montedomini day centers, for fragile women, people with disabilities. Outdoors, together, they will be able to do craft work and take care of the plants: time spent in nature will make their days less lonely and sad" says Costanza Menchi, creator and soul of Rinasciamo.
MudMoiselle Grès e Porcellana, via de Macci 75r Workshop: “Bread, oil and clay” From 10:30 to 12:30, from 14:30 to 16:30 and from 17:30 to 19:30 Workshop description: “Bread, oil and clay” is a 2-hour workshop where you can play with stoneware with a dotted final effect, a particularly resistant clay with which you can create - using two of the oldest ceramic techniques (the pinch-pot and the slab) - a personalized bowl and plate on which you can have fun imprinting fabrics, molds and flowers. Ceramics is a slow art and that is why at the end of the two hours the pieces created will have to dry and then be fired. They will be glazed with a warm white glaze whose effect will be shown during the workshop and after a wait of about 10 days you will be able to collect them to enjoy them on your table. They will in fact be suitable for food use and dishwasher safe! No previous experience is required to participate. Maximum number of participants for each appointment: 4 people Cost: €40 per person, which includes the materials used (clay and glaze), two firings for each piece made and the glazing that the teacher will personally take care of in the following days.
